Four Raiders make top three Nov 10, 2014 12:00 AM A A FOREST GROVE — Four Southern Oregon wrestlers were top-three in their weight classes Sunday at Pacific's Mike Clock Open. Tyler Cowger, a 149-pounder, placed second along with 165-pounder Garrett Urrutia. Claiming third were 157-pounder Dalton Urrutia and 184-pounder Ryan McWatters. Cowger started his day with a major decision and rode two decisions into the finals, where he lost 14-6 to Oregon State's Jordan Hendrickson. Garrett Urrutia reached the finals via a technical fall, a decision and then a 5-3 decision over Warner Pacific's Blake Cooper in the semifinals. He was pinned by Oregon State's Seth Thomas in the final. Dalton Urrutia won his first-round match before dropping into the consolation bracket, where he won four straight, capped by 5-4 decision over Oregon State's Jordan Hendrickson. McWatters took a fall and a decision into the 184 semifinals, where he lost 8-4 to Oregon State's Taylor Meeks. In the consolation bracket, he scored a fall, then won the third-place match 3-2 against Clackamas Community College's Adrian Salas
