The Oregon Department of Transportation meetings will be hosted by each project’s solution team and Citizens Advisory Committee at the Jackson County Parks Auditorium, 400 Antelope Road in White City. The North Medford Solution Team and CAC will meet at 10:30 a.m. That project is scheduled for construction in 2004. When complete, the new interchange will improve safety, air quality and traffic flows in the commercial area and provide a more direct route from Interstate 5 to and from the Crater Lake Highway with the installation of two new northbound ramps. The two ramps will connect Highway 62 traffic with Biddle Road. The South Medford Solution Team and CAC will meet in the same location at 1:30 p.m. The south Medford interchange project is scheduled for construction in 2006. That project will ease congestion and improve safety when the new high-capacity interchange to the south of the Barnett Road interchange is complete.
