Seattle takes down Spartans Dec 05, 2015 12:00 AM A A SEATTLE — The Southern Oregon Spartans received goals from Andrew Carriere and Morrison Paiute but Seattle was able to defend its home turf with a 5-2 victory during Western States Hockey League action on Friday. The Spartans, who take on the Totems today in Game 2 of the three-game series, dropped to 13-9 overall. Duncan Long scored a pair of goals for the Totems.
