Chouinard appeared in Jackson County Circuit Court Monday on an indictment charging him with possession of amphetamine. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail and released. Drugs — Phyllis Kay Chouinard, 54, of Springfield. Chouinard appeared in court Monday on an indictment charging her with possession of amphetamine. She was booked in jail and released. Crime reports Burglary — 17000 block of Ramsey Road, White City. Residents reported to Jackson County sheriff’s deputies Monday that their home was burglarized. Items with an estimated $500 value were reported stolen. No items were listed. Burglary — 2400 block of Avenue A, White City. Residents reported to sheriff’s deputies Monday that their home was burglarized. No stolen items were listed. Stolen vehicle — 400 block of Savage Creek Road, Grants Pass. An all-terrain vehicle with an estimated $6,000 value was reported stolen. Sheriff’s deputies took the report Monday. Theft — 3200 block of Crater Lake Highway, Medford. Medford police took a report that a floor buffer with an estimated $3,500 value was stolen Monday from Petsmart. Miscellaneous Jail releases — A total of 150 inmates were released last week from the Jackson County Jail to meet its court-ordered cap of 230 inmates. Of those, 78 were released before their scheduled court appearances, 28 were granted an early release from a sentence and 44 were released for miscellaneous reasons.
