Clevenger does it all in Ashland's triumph over IV ASHLAND - Bryan Clevenger was a one-man wrecking crew Thursday for the Ashland boys basketball team. Clevenger's game-high 25 points helped the Grizzlies fend off Rogue River, 68-60. Jason Luchterhand scored 20 and teammate Derrick Schoner added 19 for the Chieftains, who rallied from 15 points down to make things interesting at the end. "It was a pretty even game," said Ashland coach John Skinner, whose team improved to 4-3. "We'd get up by 10 or 15 points, and they'd hit some big shots to get back into it. "They are a really good ballclub." Rogue River, now 7-2, trailed by nine entering the fourth quarter but cut the lead to five in the waning minutes. "We played pretty well," said Rogue River coach Scott Anderson. "We missed a lot of shots around the basket that we would normally make. "That was the game right there." Nick Palmasano, the only other Grizzly in double figures, scored eight of his 10 points in the fourth quarter. Isaac Wright led Ashland with 11 boards.
