No one injured in house fire on Oakdale Avenue By Mail Tribune staff Updated: Oct 14, 2021 03:57 PM A A No one was injured in a house fire Thursday morning in the 700 block of South Oakdale Avenue. A report came in at 11 a.m. Thursday saying that smoke was showing and alarms were sounding at a residence there, according to the Medford Fire Department. Four engine crews responded and found a fire burning inside. They were able to limit the blaze to one room. Two cats suffered from slight smoke inhalation. The animals didn’t require air to help them breathe and were OK after being taken outside. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
