Superior Aquatic swimmers are third in Bend meet BEND -- Superior Aquatics placed third in the 25-team Bend Open Swim Meet at Juniper Park. Jayce Calhoon and Brittany Miller achieved seconds in high-point competition for 8-and-under boys and girls, respectively. Tolga Tokman (11-12), Jamie Buckley (8-U) and Justine Calhoon (8-U) also finished in the top-10 for high-point honors in last weekend's meet. Jayce Calhoon was second in the 100-yard individual medley (1:35.60) and 25 butterfly (19.28), third in the 25 breaststroke (24.65), third in the 25 backstroke (21.48) and seventh in the 25 freestyle (17.43). Miller was second in 100 individual medley (1:33.98), 25 freestyle (16.00), 50 freestyle (35.49) and 25 butterfly (18.66), fourth in the 25 breaststroke (23.24) and eighth in the 25 backstroke (22.29). Tokman was fourth in the 500 freestyle (6:17.78), ninth in the 100 freestyle (1:05.80), 15th in the 50 butterfly (36.74), 18th in the 50 backstroke (38.08), 21st in the 50 freestyle (31.63) and 25th in the 100 individua l medley (1:21.96). Buckley placed third in the 25 backstroke (19.80), third in the 100 individual medley (1:39.01), third in the 25 freestyle (16.13), fifth in the 25 butterfly (20.56) and 12th in the 25 breaststroke (25.58). Justine Calhoon was fifth in the 25 breaststroke (23.62), ninth in the 50 freestyle (40.17), 11th in the 25 butterfly (22.58) and 15th in the 25 backstroke (23.60). Lexi Brown (9-10) was second in the 50 backstroke (41.08), eighth in the 100 individual medley (1:23.47), (10th in the 50 backstroke (39.27), 10th in the 50 freestyle (33.00), 11th in the 100 freestyle (1:14.90) and 12th in the 50 butterfly (39.17). Jason Slowey (9-10) took fourth in the 50 breaststroke (42.69), fifth in the 50 backstroke (38.58), eighth in the 50 butterfly (37.62), eighth in the 50 freestyle (32.18), ninth in the 100 freestyle (1:11.03) and ninth in the 100 individual medley (1:23.71).
