Medford police arrested Sargent Saturday on charges of possession of amphetamines and probation violation. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he remained Saturday night without bail. Drugs — Dennis Angelo Keehn, 32, of the 3700 block of Avenue G, White City. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy arrested Keehn Saturday on charges of possessing amphetamines and supplying contraband. He was lodged in jail, where he remained Saturday night on $10,000 bail. Theft — Jay Edward Tyler, 34, no address listed. Ashland police arrested Tyler Saturday on two counts of theft of services, a fraudulent use of a credit card charge and a Curry County warrant charging him with failure to appear on charges of menacing, harassment and fourth-degree assault. He was lodged in jail, where he remained on $24,500 bail. Crime reports Vandalism — 100 block of Hilt Lane, White City. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy took a report late Friday of an estimated $2,000 worth of vandalism to a semi-truck. Escapees — 700 block of Ash Street, Central Point. Central Point police nabbed two Jackson County inmates who slipped away from a work crew picking up trash along Interstate 5 Saturday. Officer Greg Krebs said a caller reported two suspicious men wearing orange jumpsuits running through a neighborhood near Ash Street at about noon. Central Point police, aided by officers from Medford, quickly corralled the two in a back yard. The escapees, David Gerald Fleming, 19, and Terry Toalima Vaeono, 20, were returned to the Jackson County Jail.
