AARP aides will help with tax returns AARP volunteers will offer free income tax return preparation for low- and moderate-income taxpayers of all ages through April 15. Volunteers are trained to have knowledge of federal and state income tax laws. For assistance, bring current tax records and a copy of last year's return to any of the following sites: Ashland: Pioneer Hall, 73 Winburn Way. Walk-ins are welcome. Hours are 9 a.m. to noon Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 1 to 8 p.m. Thursdays. Phoenix: Phoenix Library, 110 W. Second St. Walk-ins are welcome. Hours are 1 to 5 p.m. Tuesdays. Talent: Talent Library, 105 N. I St. Walk-ins are welcome from 1 to 5 p.m. Wednesdays. Medford: Ascension Lutheran Church, 2617 E. Barnett Road. Walk-ins are welcome. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays; 9 a.m. to noon Thursdays. Medford: Senior Center, 510 E. Main St. Hours are by appointment only, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays. For an appointment, call 772-2273. Medford: Lions Sight and Hearing Center, 228 N.
