Email Story to a Friend June 13, 2006 Honor Roll Track Josh Dalton of Scenic Middle School in Central Point won three events at the Middle School State Championship track and field meet June 3 in LaPine. Dalton won the 110-meter hurdles (16.67 seconds), the high jump (5 feet, 8 inches) and ran a leg on the Scenic victorious 4x100 relay (47.91) team. Scenic students Kelly Beck and Devin Massey were on the relay team along with Brent Smith . Beck and Massey each won an event and finished second in another. Beck won the 200 (24.14) and took second in the 100 (11.87), while Massey won the 400 (56.81) and finished second in the 800 (2:13.27). Markee Redding of White Mountain Middle School in Eagle Point won the 100 (11.85) and finished second in the 200 (24.73). Golf Dick Fisk recorded a hole-in-one at No. 17 at StoneRidge Golf Course. Playing partners were Don Laatsch, Tom Chadwell and Cleon Botsford. Advertisement Clay Farley matched his age with an 18-hole score of 74 at StoneRidge Golf Course. Darren Doolittle aced the second hole at Cedar Links Golf Course on June 5. The hole-in-one was hit from a distance of 136 yards and was witnessed by Dave Mundy. Dane Smith of Medford knocked down a hole-in-one with a 6-iron at on the 180-yard par-3 third hole at Eagle Point Golf Course on June 10. The ace was witnessed by Patrick Oropallo.
