FM-8 系 取扱 説明 書

ご 使用 に な る 前 に 


この 取扱 説明 書 は 、 ご 使用 に な る 前 に 
必ず お 読み くだ さい 。 また 、 お 読み の 後 は 、 
保管 し こく だ さい ます よう お 願い いた し ます 。 









E 告 : 下記 の 文章 は 必ず お 読み くだ さい 。 


A\ 「 ス トラ ッ プ は 必ず し っ か り 締 め て くだ さい 。」 
スト ラッ プ を 締め な か っ た り 、 締 め 方 が 緩 か っ た りす る と 、 万 一 転倒 し た 時 な ど に 脱げ て し まい 、 頭 
を 守る こと が で きず 非常 に 危険 で す 。 ま た 、 ヘ ル メ ッ ト の 下 に 、 帽 子 - フ ー ド - バ イザ ー・- ヘ ッ ド フォ ン 
等 を 着用 し な いで くだ さい 。 ヘル メッ ト が ずれ た り 、 落 ちる お それ が あり ます 。 

/ [大きな 衝 撃 を 受け た ヘル メッ ト は 外観 上 に 損傷 が な く て も 、 ご 使用 に な ら な いで くだ さい 。」 
ヘル メッ ト は シェ ル 及 び 和 撃 吸収 ライ ナー が 潰れ る こと で 、 衝 撃 エ ネル ギー を 吸収 し ます 。 大 き な 
衝撃 を 受け た ヘル メッ ト は 、 既 に ライ ナー が 潰れ て いる こと が 多く 、 そ の まま 使用 する と 、 再 度 衛 
撃 エ ネル ギー を 吸収 で きず 非常 に 危険 で す 。 外観 に キズ が な く て も 、 使 用 し な いで くだ さい 。 

A 「 ヘ ル メ ッ ト の 改造 お よび 分 解 は 絶対 に し な いで くだ さい 。」 

ヘル メッ ト に 穴 を 開け た り 、 内 部 の 衝撃 吸収 材 を 削っ た り 、 ま た 、 ス トラ ッ プ な ど は 絶対 に 改造 し な 
いで くだ さい 。 ヘル メッ ト 本 来 の 性 能 が 発揮 で き な く な り 非 常に 危険 で す 。 

L\ 「 ヘ ル メ ッ ト の お 手入れ は 薄め た 中 性 洗剤 で ふき 取る よう に し て くだ さい 。」 
ガソリン シン ナー・ ベ ベンジン. 熱湯 (50C 以 上 ) や 、 塩 水 等 は 絶対 に 使用 し な いで くだ さい 。 

A 「 ヘ ル メ ッ ト の ペイ ント は 絶対 に し な いで くだ さい 。」 

衝撃 吸収 ライ ナー は 、 塗 料 や 熱 の 影響 に より 材質 が 侵さ れ 衝撃 吸収 が 低下 する 場合 が あり ます 
の で 、 ベ イン ト は 絶対 に お や めく だ さい 。 

A 「 ヘ ル メッ ト は 大 切 に 取り 扱っ て くだ さい 。 」 

ヘル メッ ト は 丈夫 だ か ら と いっ て 、 床 等 に 放り 投げ た り 、 上 に 座っ た り し な いで くだ さい 。 そ の 度 に 
衝撃 を 吸収 する た め 、 衝 撃 吸収 力 が 低下 し ます 。 万 一 の た め に 大 切 に 取り 扱っ て くだ さい 。 

また 、 乗 車 時 に 頭 を 保護 する 目的 以外 に は 使用 し な いで くだ さい 。 

A 「 ヘ ル メ ッ ト の 保管 に つい て 」 

ヘル メッ ト は 直射 日 光 の 当たる 場所 へ の 長 時 間 の 放置 や 、 車 の 中 お よび 、 暖 房 機 の そば な ど 、 高 


温 (50C 以 上 ) の 場所 に 長 時 間 放 置 し な いで くだ さい 。 
ヘル メッ ト に 使わ れ て いる 材質 等 が 変質 し て 、 性 能 が 低下 し ます 。

© 「 長 期間 の 日 光照 射 に よる シェ ル の 変色 に つい て 」 


ヘル メッ ト の カラ ー に よっ て は 、 長 期間 日 光 を 浴び る こと に より 、 シ ェ ル 表面 の 色調 が 薄く 変色 す 
る 場合 が あり ます 。

マッ トカ ラー は 表面 処理 の 都合 上 、 あ ら か じ め 貼 付 さ れ て いる ステ ッ カ ー を は が す と 、 表 面 の マッ 
ト ( つ や 消し ) 処理 が は が れる 事 が あり ます の で 、 ス テッ カー は 絶対 に は が さ な い で くだ さい 。 ま た 
お 客 様 が ご 購入 後に ご 自身 で 貼付 し た ステ ッ カ ー を 再度 は が し 取る 場合 も 、 同 様 の こと が 考え ら 
れ ま す の で 、 ス テッ カー を 貼付 され る 際 は 十分 に ご 注意 くだ さい 。

この 取扱 説明 書 は 、 ヘ ル メ ッ ト の 正しい 取扱 方 法 に つい て 説明 し て お り ます 。 
ご 使用 前 に は 必ず 最後 まで この 説明 書 を お 読み いた だ き 、 
読み の 後 は 、 当 説明 書 を 大 切 に 保管 し て いた だ きま す よ う 、 お 願い いた し ます 。 
ヘル メッ ト は 、 い か な る 事故 に も 絶対 と いう 訳 で は な く 、 万 一 の 際 に 危険 の 度合 い を 
減ら す 装 備 の 一 つ で 、 安 全 の 一 要素 と し て ご 理解 の うえ ご 使用 くだ さい 。 
安全 快適 な バイ シク ル ラ イフ を 楽し お た め に も 、 以 下 の 注意 事項 を 
よく ご 理解 いた だ きま す よ うお 願い いた し ます 。

1 ワン タッ チバ ッ ク ル の 取扱 方 法 
ワン タッ チバ ッ ク ル は 、 あ な た の 頭 に し つか り ヘ へ ヘルメット を 固定 する た め の 重 要 な 装置 で す 。 
スト ラッ プ の 両 先端 に 付い て いる 「 ワ ンタ ッ チ バッ クル 」 を 確実 に に め ま し ょ う 。

お 肌 を 挟ま な いよ う ご 注 意 くだ さい 。 


顔 な ど ケガ を する お それ が あり ます 。

ワン タッ チバ ッ ク ル の 外し 方 : リ リー ス ボ タ ン を 押す と 、 ワ ンタ ッ チ バッ クル が 外れ ます 。

@ ス トラ ッ プ は 正しく し っ か り 締 め て くだ さい 。 締 め な いま ま の 走行 は 、 万 一 転倒 し た 際 に 大 変 危険 で す 
の で 、 絶 対 に お や めく だ さい 。 

@⑯ ワ ンタ ッ チ バッ クル は 、 必 ず ホ ル ダ ー の 最後 まで (カチ ッ と 音 が する まで ) き っ ちり 押し 込ん で くだ さ 
い 。 押 し 込み が 不 完 全 で す と 、 万 一 転倒 し た 際 に ワン タッ チバ ッ ク ル が 外れ て し まい 、 大 変 危険 で す 。 








2 スト ラッ プ お よび アジ ャ スト ロッ ク の 調整 


ご 使用 前 に 必ず 試着 し まし ょ う ! 
スト ラッ プ の 長 さ な ど 、 あ な た の 頭 に ぴっ た り フ ィ ッ ト す る よう 必ず 調整 し まし ょ う 。 
スト ラッ プ の 長 さ は 、 ワ ンタ ッ チ バッ クル を 締め た と き 、 指 が ら ~3 本 入る 程度 が 一 般 的 で す 。 
ご 使用 前 に 必ず 試着 を 行い 、「 ス トラ ッ プ 」 の 長 さ や 「 ア ジャ スト ロッ ク 」 の ロッ ク 位 置 、「XF-4 ア 
ジャ スタ ー」 の 締め 具合 な ど を 適度 に 調整 し 、 あ な た の 頭 に ぴっ た り フ ィ ッ ト す る よう に し て くだ 
さい 。 
※「XF-4 ア ジャ スタ ー」 の 調整 に つい て は 「 回 XF-4 ア ジャ スタ ー の 調整 」 を 参照 


スト ラッ プ の 長 さ 調整 Se 告 : 
短く する を 一 | ワン タッ チバ ッ ク ル @ ス トラ ッ プ は 、 左 記 以 外 の 通し 方 を する と 、 
長く する SS] りー-z ッ スト ラッ プ 自 体 が 滑り 固定 で きず に 抜け て し 
スト ラッ フ ホ ルター | まい 、 ヘ ル メ ッ ト が 脱げ て し まう お それ が あり 
、 ows ます の で 、 正 確 に 通し て くだ さい 。

止め て くだ さい 。 際 、 ワ ンタ ッ チ バッ クル の 方 向 に ご 注意 くだ さい 。 








アジ ャ スト ロッ ク の 調整 
ワン タッ チバ ッ ク ル を と め 、 し っ か り 上 顔 の 側面 に 合う よう に 「 ア ジャ スト ロッ ク 」 の 高 さ を 調整 し ま 
す 。 ヘ ル メ ッ ト を 被り 、 ス トラ ッ プ の ⑳⑩ の 部 分 が すっ きり 納まっ て いる か 確認 し 、 耳 の 部 分 が 緩い 
また は 、 キ ツ い 場合 、「 ア ジャ スト ロッ ク 」 を 移動 させ て 高 さ を 調整 し ます 。 


アジ ャ スト ロッ ク の 移動 方 法 
スト ラッ プ 、W ① ア ジャ スト ロッ ク の カバ ー を 矢印 
の 方 向 に 開き ます 。 
⑧ ア ジャ スト ロッ ク を 正しい 高 さ に 
調整 し ます 。 
A ⑨ 高 さ が 決ま っ た ら 、 ア ジャ スト ロッ 
ク の カバ ー を 元 の 通り に 閉じ た ら 
カバ ー 完了 で す 。

( り ご 注意 : アジ ャ スト ロッ ク を 調整 後 は 、 必 ず し っ か り ロッ ク を 閉じ て くだ さい 。 ロ ッ ク を 閉じ 
な いま ま 使用 する と 、 ス トラ ッ プ の 位置 が 正しく 保 て な い 場 合 が あり ます 。 


Be 「XF-4 ア ジャ スタ ー」 の 調整 


「XF-4 ア ジャ スタ ー」 は 、 ヘ ル メ ッ ト の ズレ や ブレ を 抑え る た め に 、 ヘ ル メ ッ ト 後 頭 部 に 装備 され た ロッ 
ク 機 構 で す 。 あ な た の 頭 に ビッ タリ フィ ッ ト さ せ 、 し っ か り ホ ー ル ド す る よう に 調整 し まし ょ う 。 


は じ め に XF-4 ア ジャ スタ ー の アジ ャ スタ ー ダ イヤ ル を 適度 に 緩め て か ら ヘ ル メ ッ ト を か 京 り 、 
ヘル メッ ト の 前 部 を 押さ えな が ら 、 ア ジャ スタ ー ダ イヤ ル な 適度 に 締め て くだ さい 。 (下図 参照

( り ご 注意 : 「XF-4 ア ジャ スタ ー」 を ご 使用 の 際 は 、 
毛髪 が 3 つら かからない よう ご 注意 の うえ 、 調 整 し て くだ さい 。 





「XF-4 ア ジャ スタ ー」 の ポジ ショ ン 変 更 お よび 角度 調整 に つい て 
当 製 品 は 、 前 の アー ム 部 が 前 後段 階 、 後 部 が 上 下 2 段階 に ポジション 調整 が 可能 で す 。 
く ア ー ム の 位置 を 変え る (前 後 ら 段 階 )> 
アー ム 取 り 付 け 位置 を 前 も し く は 後ろ の 位置 に 変更 する 場合 は 、 ア ー ム の 取り 付け 部 根元 付近 を し っ か 
り 持ち 、 ゆ っ くり 手前 に 引っ ぱる と 外れ ます 。 取 り 付け る 場合 は アー ム 先 端 に ある 突起 を 取り 付け 穴 (人 バ 
スケ ッ ト ) に 強く 押し 込み ます 。( 図 1)

まず ヘル メッ ト を な を 裏返し 、XF-4 ア ジャ スタ ー (抜き 取る と 先端 に 容 起 が あり ます 。) 
の 突起 を 本 体 の 取付 穴 よ り 取 り 外 し て か ら 、 HE HB E E 
お 好み の 「 角 度 調整 穴 」 に 再度 強く 押し 込ん 
で 取り 付け ます 。 
※ こ の 際 、 突 起 を 取り 付け る 「 角 度 調整 穴 」 
の 位置 は 、 左 右 同じ 位置 に し て くだ さい 。

取り 外し て か ら 、 イ ン ナ ー パ バッド の 「 フ ロン ト パ ッ 
ド 」、「 リ アパ ッ ド 」 の それ ぞ れ に 差し 込ま れ て いる 
部 分 を ゆっ くり 取り 引き 抜く と 、「 フ ロン トバ パッド]」、 
「 リ アパ ッ ド 」 が 取り 外せ ます 。 

⑧ イ ン ナ ー パ ッ ド の 「 ト ッ プ パッ ド (3 カ 所)] は 、 マ 
ジッ ク テ ー プ で 取付 られ て いま す 。 
取り 外す と き は トッ プ パ ッ ド を ゆっ くり 引っ ぱる と 
取り 外せ ます 。

旬 XF-4 ア ジャ スタ ー を 取り 外す 際 は 、 必 ず 取 付 部 の 根元 付近 を 持っ て 外し て くだ さい 。 
無理 に 引っ 張る と 、XF-4 ア ジャ スタ ー の 取付 部 分 が 破損 する お それ が あり ます 。 


(別売 ) 「FM-8・ 補 修 用 パッ ド 」 に つい て 
イン ナー バッ ド は 消耗 品 で す ! 
つね 日 ご ろ よ り 使 用 され て いる ヘル メッ ト 内 部 の イン ナー パッ ド は 、 消 耗 品 で す 。 傷 ん だ イン ナー 
パッ ド を その まま 使い 続け る と 破れ て し まい 、 フ ィ ッ ト 感 な ど に 悪影響 を およぼし か ね ませ ん 。 
古く な っ た イン ナー パッ ド は 、 早 期 に 交換 され る 事 を お 薦め し ます 。 





補修 用 パッ ド 各 種 に つい て 詳し く は 、 弊 社 カ タロ グ も し く は ホー ムペ ー ジ に 掲載 の

CW 正しい 位置 で ヘル メッ ト を 装着 する 


ヘル メッ ト を 前 か ら 後 に か け て 水平 に な る よう に 着用 し て くだ さい 。 

この と き に ヘル メッ ト の 先端 が まゆ 毛 の すぐ 上 に な い 場 合 は 、 正 し く 装 着 で き て いま せん 。 
(装着 の 際 は 鏡 を 見 な が ら 調 整 し て くだ さい ) 

また 、 あ ご ひも の 長 さ や アジ ャ スト ロッ ク の 調整 も ヘル メッ ト を 正しく か ぶる うえ で 

大 変 重 要 な 部 分 で す 。 当 説明 書 の 該当 項目 を よく お 読み の うえ 、 正 し く か ぶっ て くだ さい 。

® The helmet should be worn in a way that it protects your forehead, with the edge just 
above your eyebrows, and never pushed far over the back of your head. 

Wear the helmet so it is level from front to back. 

@ No helmet can protect the wearer against all injuries or foreseeable impacts. 

@ Before riding a bicycle, make sure to adjust the helmet so it fits your head correctly. The 
strap should be positioned not to cover the ears, the buckle positioned away from the 
jawbone, and the strap and buckle adjusted to be both comfortable and secure. 

® Your helmet is effective as protection only when it is worn properly. You should try 
different sizes to choose the size which feels secure and comfortable on your head at 
time of purchase. 

@ Please handle the helmet with care. The helmet is designed to absorb shock by 
partial destruction of the liner and its damage may not be visible. DO NOT sit on it, 
drop it on the floor or otherwise cause impact. 

@ if subjected to a severe impact, the helmet should be discarded and destroyed. 

@ Wipe the helmet with common ph-neutral detergent diluted with clear water. 

Never use any petroleum, thinner, benzine, hot water above 50°C or saline water. 

@ Do not leave the helmet in the direct sunlight or where the temperature may surpass 
50°C, e.g. in a car or near a heater. 

Doing so will affect the materials and the performance of the helmet will diminish. 

@ Do not paint the helmet. Paints may reduce the original protective performance of the 
helmet considerably. 

@ Do not modify the helmet. In order to fully maintain the performance of the helmet, do 
not attempt to take it apart or change it in any manner that involves making holes in it 
or cutting it (or any of its parts) other than as recommended by the manufacturer. 

@ This helmet should not be used by children while climbing or doing other activities 
when there is a risk of strangulation/hanging if the child gets trapped with the helmet.

@ Make sure to fasten the strap firmly. It is dangerous to ride a bicycle without 
fastening the strap. 

@ if the strap buckle is not fastened (ie, you don't hear it click), or if it is fastened

Try on the helmet before use 
Adjust the strap to fit your head. It generally should be just long enough to leave 
space for 2 to 3 fingers horizontally when fastening the strap. 
Try on your helmet before riding, and adjust the length of the strap, the position of the 
adjustment locks and the fit of the XF-4 Adjuster to fit the helmet to your head.

Fasten the strap holder and place the Adjust-lock along your profile. Wear the helmet and 
check the @ part whether the straps are placed correctly. If the straps around your ears 
are loose or tight, change the position of the Adjust-lock.

g Ajusting the XF-4 Adjuster 
XF-4 Adjuster is a mechanism at the rear of the helmet to keep the helmet from moving. Adjust 
the XF-4 Adjuster so it keeps the helmet on your head securely. 


First, loosen the XF-4 Adjuster dial, and then put on the helmet. Then, hold the front side of the 
helmet against your head and tighten the adjuster dial. (See below)

Arranging XF-4 Adjuster Position 








You can change the position of XF-4 Adjuster either backward or forward with its arm,and to 2 
different angles at the rear. 

<Switching the arm attachment position (backward and forward) > 

When switching the arm position either to backward or forward, make sure to hold near the 
base of the arm attaching part. Pull gently and it can be removed. When attaching, push the 
pin at the edge of the arm into the basket hole (Fig. 1).

It is important that the length of the chin strap and adjustable lock be adjusted for
