Suspect sought in east Medford bank robbery By Mail Tribune staff Updated: Nov 16, 2021 09:53 AM A A Medford police are asking for clues to track down a suspect in a Monday evening bank robbery at the First Interstate Bank on East Barnett Road. [Medford police photo] Medford police are asking for clues to find a man accused of demanding cash at a commercial bank in east Medford. At 5:26 p.m. Monday, a man wearing a green “Starter” pullover allegedly passed a note to a teller demanding cash at the First Interstate Bank Commercial Banking Center in the 2600 block of East Barnett Road, according to a Medford police post on social media. The suspect did not display a weapon during the alleged robbery, but he fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect covered his face, wore sunglasses and pulled up his hood, but witnesses described him as a white male whose age is unknown. Anyone who may have seen a suspect matching his description, or who may have other information in the case is asked to call Medford police dispatchers at 541-770-4783 and reference case No. 21-18469.
