Emergency services, May 13 By Mail Tribune Staff May 13, 2021 08:00 AM A A Felony arrests Assault — Anthony James Deluca, 32, of the 2000 block of Sykes Creek, Rogue River. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Deluca Monday on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence and misdemeanor charges of harassment, menacing and unlawfully disseminating an intimate image. He was booked in the jail Monday and released Tuesday after posting bond. Aggravated Harassment — Leo Thomas Callahan, 20, of the 400 block of Pearl Street, Medford. Ashland police arrested Callahan Tuesday on a felony charge of aggravated harassment and misdemeanor charges of second-degree disorderly conduct, interfering with police and on a Medford Municipal Court charge of third-degree theft. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail Tuesday and was no longer an inmate as of Wednesday. Sexual Abuse — Jaime Cortes Melchor, 40, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Cortes Melchor Tuesday on two felony counts of first-degree sexual abuse. He was held in jail Wednesday on $500,000 bail. Sexual Abuse — Alfredo Fuentes, 42, of the 800 block of West Jackson Street. Medford police arrested Fuentes Tuesday on two felony warrants charging him with first-degree sexual abuse. He was held in jail Wednesday on $100,000 bail. Assault — Richard Dennis Martin, 51, of the 5200 block of Foothill Drive, Rogue River. Rogue River police arrested Martin Tuesday on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault constituting of domestic violence. He was held in jail Wednesday on $5,000 bail. Weapon Use — Christopher Aaron Merrill, 24, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Merrill Tuesday on felony warrants charging him with unlawful use of a weapon, coercion, fourth-degree assault and strangulation constituting domestic violence, misdemeanor warrants for violating a restraining order, menacing, failing to appear in court on a previous charge of unlawfully possessing methamphetamine. He was additionally arrested Wednesday on a California felony fugitive warrant. He was held in jail Wednesday without bail. Strangulation — Travis Jimmie Boone, 49, of the 400 block of Stanford Avenue, Medford. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Boone Wednesday on a felony warrant charging him with strangulation constituting domestic violence. He was held in jail Wednesday on $7,500 bail. Criminal Mischief — Ronnie Michael Clinger, 29, of the 600 block of South Columbus Avenue, Medford. On Wednesday, Clinger made an appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on felony charges of first-degree criminal mischief, attempting to elude police in a vehicle, felon in possession of a firearm, reckless driving and recklessly endangering another person. Medford police originally arrested Clinger April 16 for violating his parole on a prior unlawful use of a weapon conviction, and later charged him with unlawfully possessing methamphetamine and heroin. He was held in jail Wednesday without bail. Animal Sexual Assault — James Morgan Hart, 28, of the 1600 block of Rolling Meadows lane, Medford. Medford police arrested Hart Wednesday on two felony warrants charging him with sexual assault of an animal. He was held in jail Wednesday on $15,000 bail. Kidnapping — Cory J. Worker, 31, of Taylorville, Illinois. Medford police arrested Worker Wednesday on felony charges of first-degree kidnapping, third-degree robbery, coercion, and misdemeanor charges of interfering with someone making a police report, second-degree theft and reckless driving. He was held in jail Wednesday on $237,500 bail.
