Three hospitalized after Medford park shooting By Mail Tribune staff Updated: Sep 08, 2021 08:37 AM A A Three people were rushed to a local hospital with gun injuries — two of them life-threatening — in the wake of a Tuesday evening shooting at a Medford park. First-responders and medical personnel rushed to the Fichtner-Mainwaring Park parking lot off Holmes Avenue after reports of the shooting at 8:28 p.m. Tuesday, according to a Medford police Facebook post issued about 90 minutes after the shooting occurred. Police say that the shooting suspects arrived at the park by vehicle, shot the three victims, and drove away. As of Tuesday evening, detectives had not yet firmed up descriptions of suspects or the vehicle involved in the shooting.
