Grants Pass falls short in playoffs at Tigard By Staff reports Mar 02, 2019 10:22 PM A A TIGARD — Second-seeded Tigard held an opponent under 27 points for the fourth time in six games, putting an end to the Grants Pass girls basketball team’s season with a 38-23 triumph. The visiting 15th-seeded Cavers (16-10) were limited to single-digit scoring in each of the four quarters, with senior Grace Gaither leading her team with 11 points. Senior Ahdra Klingler, who was the co-Southwest Conference player of the year, managed only three points while twin sister Ayla Klingler scored all five of her points in the first half. Tigard (24-3) used 15 points from Delaney Leavitt and 13 by Campbell Gray to pull away. The Tigers led only 25-19 heading to the final quarter but outscored Grants Pass 13-4 in the fourth.
