Costumed interpreters will discuss holiday traditions from the 1860s to the 1960s. Sing-along wagon rides with Banjo Bill will be available throughout the day. Chris and Dom will offer a holiday music program at 10 a.m.; the 4-H Club Latino and Friends will present Las Posadas Music at 11 a.m.; the Old Time Fiddlers will perform at noon; The Goldman Family bluegrass band will perform at 1 p.m. and Steve Berman will present Jewish folk music at 2 p.m. Local food vendors will offer samples and products for sale. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for children ages 3-12 and seniors over 65. See www.sohs.org or call 773-6536. Today's activity at KIDS' Imagination Discovery Space, 226 N. Ross Lane, Medford, will be the construction of gingerbread houses at 11 am. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $2 for adults, $5 for children. In addition to the petting farm and pony rides, photos with Santa will available from noon to 5 p.m. today and Sunday, along with hot cider, cocoa, gifts and stocking stuffers in the general store. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday-Sunday. Jacksonville's 2006 Victorian Christmas continues with activities planned from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and Sunday. Look for Santa Claus in a Victorian toyland, free wagon rides, a town crier, carolers, elves, hot roasted chestnuts and cider along California Street downtown. Call 899-8118. The Children's Sugarplum Tea Party will be held at 1 p.m. today and Sunday at the Craterian Ginger Rogers Theater in Medford. Tickets are $18 for adults and $12 for kids 2-12. Shoestring Productions, a homeschool drama group, will present "Cheaper by the Dozen," a comedy based on a real-life family with 12 rambunctious children, at 7 p.m. today at St. Mary's High School, 816 Black Oak Drive, Medford. Cost is $8 for adults, $5 for students and seniors. SUNDAY The Rogue Valley RC Club hosts radio-controlled car races at 1 p.m. Sundays and 6 p.m. Thursdays at Fast Time Race Way at the Jackson County Sports Park, 6900 Kershaw Road, White City, weather permitting.
