Wes Lathen had an interesting double for the Cavemen, taking the discus and high jump. The Comet girls won nine of 17 events to beat Grants Pass 75-61. Crater’s Kendel Nelson won the 800 and 3,000. Wynn won both the long and triple jumps as well as both hurdle races. On the girls side, the Pelicans won all but two events in a 110-17 rout. The Grizzlies’ Natalie Hemphill won the 800 and 1,500.
