GIRLS BASKETBALL: No. 2 South girls romp past Roseburg By Mail Tribune staff reports Jan 28, 2020 10:05 PM A A Sophomore forward Sierra Logue had a season-high 19 points to lead four South Medford players in double figures as the second-ranked Panthers overwhelmed Roseburg in a 90-25 rout in Southwest Conference girls basketball Tuesday. Bella Pedrojetti added 18 points, Kaili Chamberlin scored 14 with six rebounds and Toni Coleman had 10 points and three steals for the host Panthers (15-3, 3-0 SWC), who led 47-14 by halftime. Logue also finished with four blocks, while Bella Stone had five assists and Shakia Teague-Perry contributed nine rebounds, five points and three assists. Kalina Anderson, Rylee Russell and Ericka Allen each scored six points to pace Roseburg (2-15, 0-3). The Axe (9-8, 2-1 SWC) built leads of 18-6 in the first quarter and 34-15 by halftime against North Medford (5-12, 1-2), which pulled in 30 rebounds but committed 21 turnovers. Jayd Sollinger added 19 points and 15 rebounds and Kirsten Morgan came up with four steals to help spark the Grizzlies (9-6, 4-3 MWL), who broke the game open with a 15-5 surge in the second quarter.
