Mental illness fundraising luncheon on Friday, Oct. 28 Friday Oct 7, 2016 at 12:37 PM Oct 7, 2016 at 12:37 PM The second annual Helping Hands Fundraising Luncheon is from noon to 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, at the Carnegie Building, 413 W. Main St., Medford. Tickets are $20 and are available at www.eventbrite.com/e/helping-hands-fundraiser-luncheon-tickets-28409479518. The luncheon will spotlight members of the Compass House clubhouse for people coping with mental illness. Members will share their stories of personal growth and their plans for the future. The lunch will be prepared and served by Compass House members and staff. Tours of Compass House, located at 332 W. Sixth St. in Medford, will be available immediately after the luncheon. Compass House provides adults with mental health issues purposeful opportunities that build the dignity of the individual and the well-being of the community in a safe and compassionate environment.
