Using data collected from employee
surveys, employee commuting was
estimated to generate approximately 404
MTCO2e per year, or 10% of overall City
emissions64. In order to reach net -zero by
2045 , this source of emissions will need to be
addressed. While the City's lack of direct
control over employee commuting makes
this a unique challenge, other workplaces
have had success with strategies like
those discussed in this section, and
employee survey results indicate
