Daly sets Speedway record in Battle at the Border Sep 25, 2010 12:00 AM A A WHITE CITY — Clay Daly set a Southern Oregon Speedway record with a 13.292-second fast time in the late models class on Friday during the Roger Lorenzini, Sr. Battle at the Border. Daly also took the A main event, while Russ Sell was second and Justin Simpson third. John Barger had the fast time in super 4's with a time of 16.311 and Steve Moore raced to a fast time of 14.696 in crate late models. The racing season at the Speedway concludes today with Day 2 of the Battle at the Border, which pits late models from California and Oregon.
