Comets slip by Eagles CENTRAL POINT � Kelsey Anhorn and Jenni Bittle combined for a one-hitter as Crater registered a 3-0 non-conference softball win over Eagle Point Wednesday at Faber Field. Anhorn struck out five and walked none in four innings to pick up her sixth win in nine decisions. Kara Ray gave the Comets (14-5) a 1-0 lead when she scored from third base on an overthrow. In the second inning Megan Bettencourt�s single to right field sent Brandy Wolter home. In the fifth inning, Ray walked and scored on Diane Steele�s base hit to left field.
